Yep, I won't deny that Alaric is most certainly not very high up on the moral totem pole. Still, to be perfectly honest when it comes to H-games so few people ARE perfectly pure of heart that I guess I lower my standards of judgement I guess? Anyways, more good news~ I'm funding you on Patreon now, so there is that. I think this one is gonna be worth it tbh! I just finished the current rendition of the Mage storyline not that long ago and got those dreaded words....

~For now, this is where the story ends~

T_T I honestly just can't get enough of this game's world, I wanna see it all. Know its history in its entirety. Truly, I am the Voracious Eater of Knowledge.

Edit: One more thing on the morals side; I noticed that Sarah can end up burning alive A LOT of people in the Mage route lol. For as much as she criticizes a certain group of people for not caring about humanity, she can potentially become quite the sociopath herself if the player makes such choices haha. It's kinda upsetting ngl, plus if you kill a character they'll never show up again for potential future content so its kinda not worth it imo. Both from a meta perspective, and from other PoVs.

Hey HappyDaedalus, I'm pleased to inform you that I've bought this game on Steam and fallen completely in love with it. It's rare to find a primarily porn game that one can make a legit claim that they play for the plot, but I truly do believe I've found one I can add to that relatively short mental list so thanks for that!

I came for the X scenes, but I stayed for the story/lore and I get this weird feeling its a lot deeper than currently implemented/you have a lot planned. Also, I've got to come to an agreement with Sarah btw. Be it the mage route or the relatively short so far crime route, Alaric is irresistibly hot for some reason. His spicy scenes, and frankly just his general demeanor is really attractive to me ahaha. Maybe I'm playing with fire that isn't Sarah's, and falling too deep into the "I can fix him!" delusion but without getting too spoilery I get the feeling he's a product of his circumstances at the end of the day. I hope to see more from his route in the future, the Bonny and Clyde vibes I'm getting are really interesting.

Oh! One more thing before I go. Are there more intersecting NPC encounters planned, like a few particular instances from the Mage/Warrior intersect? I really do hope so tbh. I thought that was really interesting to see, how Sarah's former friends and family see her again after many years and see how much she's changed drastically.

I know this is spoilery so I'm gonna try to keep it simple, but after seeing certain parts of the mage route and also the Khan's (for now) short route, I'm not nearly as certain he's a "bad guy". Maybe I'm falling into the same trap as his haremettes, but I have theories as to what his true goals are/who/what he works for.

I know this is a late-ass reply, but she REALLY had this instance coming.... I mean, come on! Sarah. You did the one fucking thing they all told you not to do! Xan told you, Razaphel told you, your teacher in daemonology told you. I just couldn't feel bad for her here. She fucked up in a grand total of 30 seconds, this is too dumb to live not become a sex slave territory.

Yeah, not gonna lie Quill's route was the one I was waiting for the most hahaha. Well, him and Reuben. I'm a sucker for angsty torture of the MC, and the physical woes in Quill's route preview and the desperation of the MC emotionally in Reuben's preview are looking to pay off in dividends yes indeed.

Can't wait, Steamberry.

Edit: Feel I should clarify, I just like seeing MC be swept off her feet by a handsome guy in her time of peril. Gives me butterflies inside, hehehe~ Didn't mean to imply I liked watching her suffer or anything nonsensical like that only that I like to earn my happy ending and so many of your broody boys have their routes put MC imperiled to save her. That is to say, I think you're a rather masterful storyteller Steamberry.

Aaaaaah, Caribdis.....

I truly, legitimately believe with my whole (shriveled, black, nearly nonexistent) heart that nobody else makes R-18+ visual novels quite like you do, my friend. I played Once in a Lifetime many a time over, and am now working my way through Eternum. The H-scenes aside (they're great, make no mistake), no other VNs have made me cry, made me laugh, made me rage and wanna punch an asshole, or get up in arms and absolutely destroy anyone who would seek to do harm against some of the most memorable characters in OiaL and Eternum (and no, I speak not of just the womenfolk. Stabby Mike and Chang are part of the harem and Astaroth help any who seek their demise) and I thank you for the wondrous experiences that are your games. Anywho.....

To Patreon!!!

*cue the Batman transition sound*

Just looked at the world map in the new demo, and let me just say this game is gonna be HUGE when it's finished! Quick question though, I noticed the map only contained the Kingdom of Midgard. Without spoiling anything, will this game feature Antilla and the Elven Kingdom as explorable locales? And are they smaller or larger than Midgard? Anyway keep up the good work, I frikkin' love this game! Working through the new demo now.

The "source material" in this case IS the author's VN. It doesn't have to be from Type-MOON or some other AAA publishing company to be a source material. And since the sequel's ending, (which is out and complete now) nearly the entire cast is set to be made enemies of some one now anyway. What with the revelation at the end of this one.

Yes it's the True End because the one I speak of is labeled as such in the gallery and upon completing said ending in story mode, which you'd know if you actually played the source material instead of posting to be contrarian.

Why does this one and allegiance follow the non-canon route tho? The true end to reborn is just ignored in favor of the author's preferred plot, why? Don't VNs usually follow the storyline of the golden ending?

I'm stuck under the church in the beginning with Kuro cuz he won't move and I can't ascent the left stairwell can only descend had to start over any tips?

Well I actually noticed just recently that the king has blue eyes. But shit Serrani mentions a father and I'm getting the suspicion that the protagonist might be a bastard. Sir Garth had blonde hair and green eyes. And seemed to have ahem... *feelings* for the Queen in the prologue. It would definitely explain why the king might send assassins after the protags family. When Serrani kills the king she says something about him ruining her family.

I'm still womdering what the relationship between the protagonist and the so called "princess" is. I mean I originally theorized the protagonist is the king's daughter raised as a commoner as the prophecy dictated. I mean the girl with half white half black hair looks nothing like either parent. And if she is indeed the TRUE vessel for the demon like the prophecy spoke of, why did the king completely disregard the oracle's words? And where is the knight/old friend of the king that was supposed to be raising the king's child in secret? I really hope Acts 3 and 4 explain this becuz I currently can't make sense of it. Not to mention this game stands to be awfully short if the first two Acts were any indication. I have high hopes indeed for this game, but I just can't decipher the storyline with the limited info I have on hand. And I'm normally really good at that.
